Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective September 6, 2026. Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws ask for a plain description, separate from everything else, of the health information an app collects and what happens to it. This is ours, and it applies to everyone who uses Clearly, wherever you live. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy; where the two overlap, this one is the more specific.

This is the text shown inside the iPhone app. The Android app shows the same document with "Google Play" wherever this says "the App Store"; nothing else differs.

1. What health information we collect

Test results you upload: the document or photo, the test date, which infections it covered, and the outcome of our check (verified, rejected, or pending review).

Positive results you report: the infection and the dates you enter.

Your status: Clear, Needs a test, or Positive, which we compute from the items above and from alerts.

Exposure alerts you receive: the infection and the earliest date a test would count.

Encounter records: who you cleared with, when, whether it happened, the score you gave, and any private notes.

We do not collect biometric data, precise location, or genetic information, and we never infer your sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, or anything else from what you log.

2. Where it comes from

From you, when you upload a test, report a result, clear with someone, or check in. From other people's reports, which produce the alerts you receive without identifying them. From the automated check that reads your test documents and records whether they matched what you entered.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

To compute and show your status. To show the people you choose to clear with the kind of your status and which infections your tests covered. To send anonymous exposure alerts when someone reports a positive result. To verify uploaded test documents. To remind you to check in after a clear and to get tested periodically, if you keep those reminders on. To keep your private calendar and statistics.

We use it for nothing else. No advertising, no marketing, no profiling, no sale, no sharing with data brokers, insurers, or employers. We do not use geofencing of any kind.

4. What we share and with whom

With people you clear with: your name, your Instagram handle if you added one, the kind of your status, whether your verified tests cover the basic panel, and, when you are clear, which infections your tests covered. Never your partners, calendar, scores, notes, reports, tests, or who reported anything.

With service providers, only as needed to run Clearly: Supabase (hosting, database, and document storage), Anthropic (an automated service that reads your test documents to confirm they match what you entered; it does not use them to train models and does not keep them beyond a short processing window), Apple and Google (delivering notifications, which never contain health information), Twilio (verifying your phone number; no health information), and RevenueCat (your membership status only; no health information). If an automated check is inconclusive, a member of our team may review the document.

We have no affiliates that receive your health information. We disclose it only if the law requires and we have no lawful way to refuse.

We do not sell consumer health data and never have.

5. Your rights

You can confirm whether we hold your health information and get a copy of it. You can have it deleted. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which means deleting the information or your account. You can ask for the list of third parties we have shared it with.

In the app: Settings shows your tests and reports, and Delete my account removes everything, including uploaded documents, within 30 days and from backups within 90.

By email: write to support@amos.live from any address and include the phone number on your account so we can verify it is you. We respond within 45 days and may take up to 45 more if we tell you why. Requests are free.

6. Appeals

If we decline a request, reply to our decision within 30 days with the word Appeal and we will have someone who did not make the first decision review it, and answer within 45 days in writing. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact the attorney general of your state; in Washington that is atg.wa.gov.

7. Consent and changes

We ask for your clear, affirmative consent to collect and use your health information before you first use Clearly, on the acknowledgement screen, and we record when you gave it. Nothing here happens without it. If we ever need your health information for a new purpose, we will ask again first. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app and note the new effective date above.

8. Contact

Amos Live, Inc., support@amos.live. This document is linked from Settings and from the first-run acknowledgement, and it applies to everyone who uses Clearly, wherever you live.

9. Where Clearly is offered

Clearly is offered in the United States and in other countries where it appears in the App Store. It is not offered to, and must not be used by, people who live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. We do not direct the service to those places or monitor anyone there, and by using Clearly you confirm you do not live there. If that changes, stop using Clearly and ask us to delete your account.
